Vice City was by far the best...i mean they had a whole cast of real actors doing the voice work...Ray Leota,Dennis hopper, the black guy from Miami Vice etc ...on top of that was a great 1980s soundtrack ...and the game was stunning to look at and play !

SA is easily the best out of them all. biggest city , good story , good characters, good radio stations and good voice actors.

The graphics are overhyped, and the gta 4 on the pc has steeps system requirements. Most people will not be able to run on max graphics and highest 1080p resolution on the pc unless they recently bought a video card like today.

Vice City was the ****. It was awesome, the story, the characters, the music....hell just the whole 80s vibe. SA was good too, it went a bit more RPGish. But then it got serious with GTA4. The best bit of GTA4 was The Ballad Of Gay Tony.

But still, nothing tops Vice City, that game was class.

I remember in highschool when San Andreas came out, no one went to school for about a whole week. Me and my buddy were talking about this the other day. That game was amazing.

Last GTA wasn't very good. No Planes, No Jet Packs, Can't buy property, No Monster Truck, No working fork lifts, Can't customize your character (gym, hair, tattoos), lack of weapons, Can't rob places, I could go on and on and on...

And you had to be a skinny russian crackhead, why not a big strong muscular or in shape Russian soldier or some ****? It was just lame... Still kind of like the game but its kind of overrated

I've almost finished GTA IV but for some reason I haven't played it for ages, probably a few months. I couldn't work out if it was me getting bored with the whole GTA thing or if this game just isn't fun. I'm deep into it but have no real desire to pick it up again.

The gfx card is the weakest part of my new system (quad core Intel i5 750). It'll be replaced with a Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X soon when I can afford to finish building this machine. I have it running pretty smooth on my current card though, it's just an old 8600GT, but only at low res such as 1024x768. Works well enough, but you're right, it takes some pretty decent hardware to GTA IV as it should be seen. A current mid-range gfx card would be fine though.
