looking for some shooter games on PS3, can anyone recommend any good ones.

It depends on what you like. MW2 is awesome but it is a quick twitch tactical shooter.
MAG is more of a Counter Strike, Socom, Battlefield hybrid. Its very team oriented and much more of a strategic shooter.
Bad Company is coming out soon also. Check out the Demo on PSN.
I'm personally not into Resistance, Killzone........type of shooters but some people seem to really like it.Comment

I wouldn't say MAG is like Counter-Strike. Counter-Strike is one of those unique competitive shooters which can be dependant on one good player.Originally posted by Left2body View Post
Killzone 2 is a good shooter. It has a fun campaign. But the online wasn't very good. Things such as rpgs and shot guns ruined the online. Online had great maps, great game play, no lag, just people exploited the little things. The little things became big things. People quit playing.
Resistance 2 was an enjoyable shooter. Fun campaign. It actually had fun online. But once KZ2 came out, people moved on.
MW2 is fun. Campaign is short. Online is great. But I am getting sick of it now. But thats just me. I play a video game for a month, then I get bored.Comment

cool, im currently playing metal gear solid 4, getting close to beating that and i have modern warfare. im planning to get MW 2 when the price goes down or i see it on craigslist for a steal. currently looking for battlefield bad company 1 and uncharted and fallout 3. keep the ideas coming fellas. thanks.Comment

Best Dam Shooter Ive played and never ever gotten bored of it...still playing the 1st and BC 2 demo till this day.
