    1. Super Punch-Out!! (Nintendo - Arcade - 1985)
    2. Punch-Out!! (Nintendo - Arcade - 1984)
    3. Super Punch-Out!! (Nintendo - SNES - 1994)
    4. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (Nintendo - NES - 1987)

I own a Nintendo Punch-Out!! arcade machine, and have both the Punch-Out!! and Super Punch-Out!! board sets for it; and can marathon both games. The Punch-Out!! series from Nintendo are the only boxing games I have ever cared for; first and foremost the two original arcade games, and to a somewhat lesser degree, the home console versions.

They aren't realistic but they are humorous, entertaining and addictive.

see there's no way people would be calling the Fight Night games that good if they've played the VB games, especially the ones after Victorious Boxers 1. VB 1 is better overall than Fight Night, but that game is almost 6 years old and is even able to compete with these boxing games today. So imagine how good the later VB games are.

You guys should all import dammit. It's cheap enough now and piss easy, and very f'n worth it.

haymakers will be back in Round 3, which is one of many reasons why EA's games will continue to be inferior to the VB series.

Now supposedly VB All-stars drops in the US in January. It won't do **** for sales, but maybe at least the boxing scene people can get it to see what I mean by the huge difference in gameplay.
hehe im one of those also that abuse it. but i know how to box also. ima counter puncher when I fight though.

he means mod your PS2, not import.
buy the fliptop and swap magic discs and one can play import games, or back up copies of their games. or so I've heard (to avoid trouble).

and install the fliptop yourself because it is really really really really easy to do and you'll feel so ripped off if you pay a guy $10 to do it (or so I've heard, again).
