Which is why I hope they don't make the map packs too expensive.

The people who make MW2, already make way to much money off of us. I refuse to buy the map packs.

                9.99$? Screw that.

I may buy them if they are 4.99$. Slim chance though.

Aside from that, this game set records. I wouldn't even want to know the amount of money MW2 made infinity ward.

Map packs should be free. Period. Especially for this game.

According to preliminary sales figures from Activision, Modern Warfare 2 sold approximately 4.7 million units in both the United States and the UK in the first 24 hours of its release. The total revenue from first day sales in the U.S. and the UK was $310 million, making Modern Warfare 2 the biggest entertainment launch in history, surpassing (in revenue) its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto IV, as well as items from other media types. After five days of sales, the game had earned revenue figures of $550 million worldwide. As of January 18, 2010, it has taken over $1 billion in sales.

True. If it's going to cost $9.99 in the USA it's probably going to cost $14.95 Australian dollars just for a few maps.

I paid $80 for the full game yet it may cost me over $10 for a few multiplayer maps.

This is exactly why these map packs should be free. 1 billion? That makes me sick.
