It's just Netflix making money out of old franchises. It's sad to look at it because there's usually nothing from the original. It's basically a new show with different actors and a different plot. The name is the only thing that's the same because it brings money. Money is the main reason for Netflix making new originals.
Most Netflix originals are garbage, and they know that. That's why they buy old movies and try to make even more money from fans' nostalgia. I don't accept that and don't think there's anything creative in that. You need to create new things to make art and not just repeat the old stories repeatedly. That's why I always pay attention to new shows on . They might be good or bad, but they all say something about today's world.

it was comically bad. was stuck in quarantine few months back, managed about 3-4 episodes, i would recommend to watch, just to see how bad it is. I actually felt sorry for the Wire actor that wound up in this
