The BEST CAB's for fight night round 4

Just downloaded Chuck Norris, Balboa, Wlad, Vitali, Froch, Haye and Chris Eubank.

All of them are pretty good, and only needed a little bit of tweaking (Wlad's chin was rated 90 out of 100).

Playing with Froch feels a lot like the real thing, as he holds his hands low and isn't great at head movement, and his punching technique is very similar.

In case any of you haven't seen this post by Moss_27, he has links to a lot of really great looking user-created CABs you can download for the Xbox 360.


I just had to add my two cents on some other great ones I found, as well as offering my own contributions...

Let's face it. Aren't we all getting a little tired of seeing all the Rocky, Klitschko and Marciano variations?

Many of these you have to download and look at them in the game as sometimes the pictures don't do them justice. Other times, the pics you see of some look great and then they don't look so great in the game. And you can't go by the number of stars they get, and I've seen some crappy or lazy 5 star ones. Go check out the above link for some excellent ones. Here are some more that weren't mentioned there that may have appeared since. I've looked at all of these in the game, and I'm impressed by the following six...

(BTW, since someone can just download these and re-upload them, I've tried to make sure to give the original link and the person responsible credit - If I make a mistake, please let me know so I can correct it and give the proper person credit.)

None of these, believe it or not, have gotten 5 stars...

1) Best Larry Holmes IMHO - Uncle Crusher - 375 downloads - 4 1/2 stars

I keep coming back to this as still the best looking Holmes to me - I gave up trying to make one after two days of uploading pics.

2) Ron Burgundy - dubious centaur - 5734 downloads - 4 stars

If this isn't a 5 star model, I don't know what is - lol

3) Andrew Golota - DJ DPA - 1481 downloads - 4 stars

This is mentioned near the bottom at the other link, but I just think it bears repeating. Xlnt.

4) Tom Cruise - NightshifterX - 271 downloads - 4 1/2 stars

For some reason he spells it "Tom Cruz" in the game, but the face is spot on. What do you have to do to get 5 stars?

5) The Rock - tomlee1997 - 192 downloads - 4 1/2 stars

And he's a lefty.

6) Hulk Hogan - StalkerJcw - 129 downloads - 3 stars

Only 3 stars? Go take a look at this one in the game and tell me that's not the Hulkster! Great job.

And people.... If you're going to try this on your own, do a search and see if someone else has beat you to it first! Be unique! How many Rocky Balboas do we need when someone already nailed it? Argghh!!

Ok, now a little self-promotion....
(I'm known as CoolVegasguy on XBox LIve, but I've been away for awhile.)
I've tried and failed miserably at Tom Hanks and Paul McCartney despite having some great head shots.
But here are my five I've done that I think are fairly decent....

1) Foreman 45 v4 (George) - 67 downloads - 5 stars

Foreman at 45 years old when he KO'd Moorer for the title. Ha! I get 5 stars and I don't deserve it. Maybe it's for my effort and my 3 previous failed attempts. At least this one is closest to what I was trying to do, and it has stats similar to young George with just a few ticks off for the extra years.

2) Big Daddy Bowe (Rid****) - 9 downloads - 5 stars

One of my favorite fighters who still has only one loss if you can believe it. Tried a face shot and failed, and went back to the head models. I think I came pretty close and all of my serious fighters need big bone bodies to look right.

3) Shavers 1977 (Earnie) - 1 download - 0 stars

Just uploaded this. Worked on face shot a long time and again went back to head models and it looked better. (Sigh.) Accurate look and gear for when he fought Ali and took him 15 rounds in 1977. Sports Illustrated called it "Ali's Desperate Hour".

4) Will Smith - 22 downloads - 3 1/2 stars

My first attempt at a funny one no one had done yet. I think I came close.

5) John Travolta - 8 downloads - 1/2 star

I don't care that some clown gave me only half a star as of today. I liked this one. That ****** look on his face (accurate from the face pic of him I got) still makes me laugh. Put him in against Tom Cruise and have a field day.
