nope, til mkv support comes in an update, you need to convert it to avi or mp4.....or stream it from your comp with tversity or something like that.....

I used to play mkv videos streaming to my ps3 using tversity, you needed a couple other things though. I think FFshow and haali media splitter?
After a ps3 update tversity stopped working properly for me though. I dont know if it's been fixed since then. I just deceided to buy a videocard with HDMI out and hook it up to my my tv so I can just play whatever and not have to deal with tversity anymore.
