The game looks great.
Its an early beta stage of the demo it looks like. Hatton doesn't have his tattoo on the back, and they look chubby.
One thing I noticed was the controls.. I don't care if I can't press buttons to throw punches, but one thing that pissed me off was that I couldn't adjust the movement of the boxer. As in.. Camera relative, or boxer relative.
I played FNR3 a lot, and I was pretty good in the game, untill I stopped, and I still play it as of today, but in that game it had 6 diffrent configs. FNR4 only has 4.
The TPC feels ok, but I like the classic one better. I'm used to pressing L1 to aim to the body. I can adjust, but it was my first time playing the demo.
The AI is indeed smarter than before.. They will be blocking a lot of punches.. I realized this A LOT. I was throwing haymakers like crazy, trying to get used to the controls, and the computer got caught with around 3 out of 10.
This game is going to be good, and I could tell it was an early build, and I can see it competitive in A LOT of ways.
No more parries... Thank the lord!
Also... One thing that I liked a lot was that you can push away the fighter with the square button to move them away from you.. A lot of stragety to be utilized in the online portion of FNR4.. Its going to be good. Constantly pushing fighters away to create an opening..
Man I can't wait for this ****. I thought UFC was good, but FNR4 is going to deliver.
***More info to come***
