[HOLY S**T!] Just finished playing the FNR4 Demo and...

    The game looks great.

Its an early beta stage of the demo it looks like. Hatton doesn't have his tattoo on the back, and they look chubby.

One thing I noticed was the controls.. I don't care if I can't press buttons to throw punches, but one thing that pissed me off was that I couldn't adjust the movement of the boxer. As in.. Camera relative, or boxer relative.

I played FNR3 a lot, and I was pretty good in the game, untill I stopped, and I still play it as of today, but in that game it had 6 diffrent configs. FNR4 only has 4.

The TPC feels ok, but I like the classic one better. I'm used to pressing L1 to aim to the body. I can adjust, but it was my first time playing the demo.

The AI is indeed smarter than before.. They will be blocking a lot of punches.. I realized this A LOT. I was throwing haymakers like crazy, trying to get used to the controls, and the computer got caught with around 3 out of 10.

This game is going to be good, and I could tell it was an early build, and I can see it competitive in A LOT of ways.

No more parries... Thank the lord!

Also... One thing that I liked a lot was that you can push away the fighter with the square button to move them away from you.. A lot of stragety to be utilized in the online portion of FNR4.. Its going to be good. Constantly pushing fighters away to create an opening..

Man I can't wait for this ****. I thought UFC was good, but FNR4 is going to deliver.

    ***More info to come***

            Ok..

So I see a minor flaw with the new punch control.

When I go to use a hayemaker, whether it lands or not, and I accidently flick the stick fast, you will stay there in the same spot throwing 2 hayemakers. They need to fix that.. Its like a delay sort of. Like I move the stick three times to execute a jab, cross right hook, but I do it REAL fast, the fighter is still there trying to do it.

This is with the Hayemaker's only so far.

They also need to add that fix.. So that I can control my boxer, but from the camera point of view..

Hey, is there haymakers with the straight right? Like Lennox Lewis straight right hand punch? Or is only for hooks and uppercuts?

I can't really answer that because im using Pacman and Hatton..

As for that.. Theres a new counter system.. So you sway and POW! Even a right hand can cause you to KO someone with one punch if caught good. I wouldn't say its random, but if the person you're fighting expends energy fast, and you counter him.. He is done.

I've been playing and when you're low on health.. Whether its in the middle or very low... You go into a KO moment, where your bar turns red.. If the red depletes then you're out! You can go into this moment with the Hayemakers, but its not like in Round 3 where you are like 3-4 punches away from getting KO'ed.

This is much better, and I can only imagine online.

I just KO'ed Ricky Hatton with a Body punch and he didn't get up. 1st KD too. This game is going to be perfect aside the lackluster roster.

LEt me also add. That you have a Block meter.. So if someone is OD'ing on you.. He will break your guard and you will go into KO moment also!

Thats sounds awesome. The roster is pretty good in my opinion. Plus with the face creater mode that they have, I think theres endless of possibilities. Can't wait. I'm hyped and its only the ****in demo. **** lol
