    Do I have to play halo1 before halo2?

    Some people are telling that I should play halo 1 first or else I would be completely lost or would not appreicate the second one as much. Problem is I have Halo2 in my living room and not the first. I also would not want to wait till I finish ALLL of Halo1 before playing the damn game that I've been waiting for for quite some time now.

    I read the background story of the first so I have some idea of what is going on. Is it really IMPRATIVE that I play the first before the second to enjoy it? Please help

    Not necessary, if you want the full storyline and drama leading up to the sequeal then wait. I took me 3 days of about 2 hours a day to beat halo 1.....It's a pretty decent game but the ending mission is by far the best in any game in my recent history.

      No but is wery good. But if you play halo 2 first i think your not going to wery imprest by halo1

          no im pretty sure if you put the game inside the xbox it will let you play halo2

                halo sucks!! its ok but the thing i dont like is that when u want to have computers to fight you you cant....as for timesplitters 3 now thas whas up up to 16 peps plus u and ur 3 friends can play hahaah

                timesplitters is a good game
                halo 1 is alright
                halo 2 is better
                timesplitters 3 better than all of the above hhehe

                  play Halo 1 first cause if u play 2 and go back to 1 your gunna find the transition kinda weird
