Any Street Fighter fans in here?? Anyone excited for the latest installment?? The EX series left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm not really ready to jump on this bandwagon just yet even though they've decreed that the graphics are 3D, but the gameplay maintains a 2D engine.

No doubt this game is going to kick ass. No insane button combinations to do combos, keeping it old school, which is awesome.

Agreed. I'm really liking the simplicity of the whole game.

I am for sure gonna play it, but Im not as excited as I would be if it was a few years back. The real gameplay looks ok, the jumping looks like **** if you ask me, looks like EX big time.

Street Fighter 2 was great, but since then there have been quite a few good beat 'em ups and the SF series of games hasn't really been the best for over 10 years now.

Maybe I'm biased because Virtua Fighter is more suited to my style of play+I can beat all of my friends on it, whereas I was never great at pulling off the hardest combos in Street Fighter.

I hope this one turns out to good, but Tekken 6 will probably turn out to be the better game IMO.
