I had it a few weeks ago. Call Microsoft and they will send you a box to send your 360 out to them into. It took like 10 days and my 360 was back.

Heres what you do....

Go to Walmart

Buy a 360 - Pay Cash - NO CREDIT

Take the new 360 home

Take the cover off your 360 and the new one you just bought

Becareful you dont tear the sticker on the back

You CAN get it off with no marks

Find all the screws that hold the "insides" of the 360 down

Switch both "insides" - Take your broken insides and put it in the NEW 360 shell.

Take the NEW 360 insides and put it back in YOUR 360 shell...

Take the NEW 360 cover with the broken insides in it, make sure it turns on, the new cover should now have the ring of death. Your 360 should run like a champion.


Take the 360 back to walmart, say it doesnt work you want a refund. They Gaurantee a 30 day back cash gaurantee.. Even if they pull it out and check the serial numbers, it still matches up, because its still the new cover. There will be no credit card to trace it too.. and walmart isn't allowed to open the 360 to check... not that they would anyway...

Anyways 5 hours later you have a new 360 and your cash back in your pocket...

Haha I remember when I got it and for awhile I actually used the method of putting a towel on it to soak up the moisture. It worked until my 4th try. Just remember to get warranty next time you buy a console. Haha
