Victorious boxers on the wii coming to the states!!!

    OH YEAH!!!

Incase you haven't been following this game, it's pretty much a sequal to the Victorious boxers series on the PS2, but with a behind the back view like super punch out.

It doesn't nearly feature the crazy amount of characters like it does in the first two, but that's because it has a storyline with cutscenes following the hajime no ippo storyline.

    Characters playble:
    Ippo, Itagaki, Aoki, Kimura, Takamura
    Miyata, Oda, Hayami, Mashiba, Sendo
    Saeki, Vorg, (Jesus) Date, Sanada
Gregory, Hammer Nao, Brian Hawk, Shimabukuro
    Sawamura, Battery, Papaya
    Imai, Hoshi, Scratch J
    And then El Diablo Martinez

    Release date: Sometime late september.

Only bad thing about the game is that you can't switch camera angles =/, but it still looks really fun.

You can view more videos of the game on Gametrailers and on youtube.

Bumping this because it comes out on tuesday. Here's the official site.

Btw, it focuses more on the manga storyline, but hell it's a good game. Get it.

Is this available in the U.S.? I've been waiting for a good boxing game for the Wii. Hopefully this is it.

I got all the victorious boxers games.. Good game..

I just hope you can change that view. Looks good, but also annoying at the same time. Also that wii motion sensor thing.. it be kinda laggy at times. I hope you could just use the remote lol.

They need to add that create a boxer mode also! With the diets and **** and training!

Yeah sadly it's only behind the back. According to a guy another forum I go to he has the japanese version. Said that the wii sensor picks up about 95% of the time you want to throw.

But yeah, Boxer's road mode is so awesome, sucks it is not out here. Maybe on the new ippo game that is on the psp...hopefully.

Or just create Boxer's Road 3, that works too.

I don't understand why the ****ing japanese can't just make the same **** with english text. Lazy mother****ers.

Sometimes I wish I could read japanese. They ahead of us, Americans!

Yeah man, no kidding. Better yet, 2ksports should just combine with the guys who make the VB/Boxer's Road series and put it in the states with pro boxers.

I think what I love about the VB series the most is that they get better and better each game.

                For example:
In VR you had some cheap crap like when you would get a good straight right to the face you would FLY across the ring.

In VB2 they fixed that, along with a couple of other things, but it the handspeed was still way too fast (You could throw like 200 punches a round) and still could spam body uppercuts.

Though in Boxer's Road 2, they fixed the handspeed issue, the connecting rate issue so it's more realistic, fixed the bodyuppercut problem, and added a bunch of **** (like japanese pro boxers insted of ippo characters) to make it a lot better.

Sadly though, BR2 had some flaws. Namely 3:

                1. The pro boxers with different names (EX: Ari Thompson) have totally different looks then their real life counter parts. I mean in VR they looked pretty dead on to the actually thing.

                2. Boxers go down to easily. It seems in exhibition all my matches pretty much end in 3 rounds. It's different in Boxer's road mode though, but that's because my power is pretty much **** (around 200k, have great speed though).

                3. The rankings in BR2 I have a problem with. It seems like none of the guys are in other divisions either and none of the chapmions like to unify. In VR, there were a bunch of people who were ranked in the WBC and the WBA.

Though yeah, BR2's a solid game eitherway, just need to fix some things.
