Fight Night Round 3 - Career Mode (medium setting)

I'm gettin my ass handed to me by this one fighter. Not sure if it's a random name or not, but his name is Wilkins. My fighter is a welter.

Does everyone run into a really tough fighter who can hit every hole in your defense? Coz I can't last 3 rounds with him.

Lean And parry and then counter.. the name of the game is COUNTER PUNCH

I do have a a bit of a problem with fast stance fighters with Vicious Cross style Punches..

But if you let them take the fight to you.. and Time your counters.. You will NEVER lose.. ever...

OH and I have been playing on HARD since day one...

Try Controller 4 it's a nice mix of Button punch and Total Punch control.. use the buttons when attacking ... And Total punch control when defending and counter punching..

When using the buttons.. pressing Square and X at the same time will throw a left upper cut.. and circle and triangle will give you a rear Uppercut.. Depending of course if you fight orthodox...

Thanks. I was on Controller 5. I rented the game so I don't have the instructions for uppercuts. Thanks again!

They dont advertise the Uppercuts on button control.. They REALLY want people to use TPC... here are some Links
          to help you out..

I had Corrales go 51-0 and then retired him when I heard he passed away, I never use total punch control unless I am weaving under a punch and landing a heavy bodyshot

The straight shots and timing win everytime over the hooks, slip the powershots and land your own

I use 4 as Welter suggested, on hard.

              My fighter is 68-0.

The last 4-5 fights were rough.. The skills diminish.

I named my fighter Tyrone Fisher. I got him as a Welterweight. Dude is like 15-0 with 13 KOs. He a fast mofo though. I fought Ray Leonard and that **** was hard until I broke through his defense.

I just bob and weave and use the ring, gotta move and counter punch, shouldnt expect a haymaker KO everytime.

Right now i am 78-0 with 78 KO's,i made a PR fighter, hes about 44 or 45 years old,so its getting hard as **** to beat my opponents
The other day i had the most memerable fight on Fight Night,he knocked me down in round 1,i got up to knock him down the same round, after that it was slaughter,he knocked me down 2 times in the 3rd,and another 2 in the next,my guy got up a total of 5 times too put him down twice for the victory,i fort i was gna finaly lose but what a comeback it was reminded me of a Corrales fight
Im gna have to retire him soon, hes getting TOO old,he cuts easily, gets hurt easily,i have 2 rely on my defensive skills alot, but im trying to get a record 100-0 or even 90-0,i dont know if its possible but im trying,my guys a power fighter with basic punches,so he hardly has speed
Oh and ive been playing on hard since i got it,anything underneath that is a no-no
