Resistance Fall of Man vs Gears of War

Alright I want to know which one you think looks better...Both are the big shooting games for the PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively....

Which one do you think is better..not that it makes much of a difference for me cause I'm getting an Xbox 360 (even though I'm a Playstation fan)....

I played Gears of War at a friends house...Simply put the game kicks ass...

ive played both a fair amount and i pick resistance. my main complaint is that GOW is 3rd person which makes the view get really annoying sometimes (IMO). its a great game, but i jsut think resistance is a bit better.

I have both games and I think GoW is a better title. It just feels more revolutionary than resistance and has a nicer grittier feel to it. I also like the game play of it as SP. Now with that said I like Resistance better online. GoW feels too much like a run and gun button mashing game and is not as strategic as I would've hoped. Resistance also has larger amount of people playing on a map.

**** yeah GoW is sweet as **** but for me personally it gets a little tired online. I guess for me its just not enough strategy, its all tactical. I prefer Rainbow6Vegas because I think it has a better balance of strategy and tactics.

Rainbow Six gets tiresome online when you start to get spawn camped.

No matter how good you're, those frags still take you out hit after hit, haha.

But I like to think I'm a very good player in Gears, so I guess that's what makes it fun for me. It does get quite tiresome when you first start playing, but if you get used to it... you start to get really into it.

I havent played R:FOM, I would like to though.

I just watched a couple R:FoM vids and the game reminds me alot of Call of Duty with some Halo added (ie- Weapons and Vehicles)........what's your take?

reasonable enough comparison, most people say something like half-life2 mixed with battlefield/call of duty whic i think i s a perfect comparison

It reminds me more of Call of Duty with Halo but I suppose you could compare it to HL2
