you know what, all of these diet things are made for people who won't get up off of their asses to doing anything with their bodies. Those diets are for the couch potatoes who believe that getting up to change the channel on the television more than 3 times an hour is a work out.

Eat sensibly and get off of your ass, man up, and get some physical activities going. Keep the carbs in your diet for energy during your workouts. Drink lots of water (it's a natural fat burner and helps with your metabolism) and get out there and do some physical stuff. Jump a rope 30 minutes a day and watch what happens if you are eating sensibly............Rockin'

Cut your calorie intake per serving, Split your meals up into about 4-5 a day. Nothing after 7pm and do some roadwork before brreakfast to kick start your metabolism. Drop the Calories per day to around 1200 for the firs couple of weeks, then increase of up to 1-2 hundered every couple of weeks thereafter. Stay under 1800 til you get to your ideal weight. Then you should be able to determine what and how much to eat to maintain that weight. NO FAD DIETS they are not meant for Athletes with the type of training combative and other power athletes need to maintain there competitave levels
I don't believe in not eating after 7PM. You can and should eat a little bit. Assuming you get up at 6AM, that's 11hrs of fasting per day. That's near half of the time you are not consuming any food/energy. Bad idea. I think you can certainly eat a little bit later in the nite if you want a small snack. some milk, a scoop of peanut butter, fruits... just don't inhale half a gallon of ice cream...

Low carb diets work as far as cutting fat and improving your physique, but they have no place in boxing, In the 8th week of my diet I could barely pick myself up never mind throw a punch.

Everyone on here seems to have hit the nail on the head, all these diets are ****ed up and bad for your health because at the end of the day is lossing 5lb guna help you if you got no energy, feel like ****, and are damaging your health with the food that your eatting.

The cleanest and best way to eat for anyone including boxers and athletes is a vegan diet, with 51% of calories comming for raw foods. This isnt always practical, so i always say get as much fresh uncooked fruit and veg you can on that day. Some people still wana eat meat, i dont think that meat is too bad if its organic and free range. This is because the **** you get from KFC or for realy cheap is full of steriods, hormones and artifical bull **** you dont want in your body, plus look how the animal is treated left in its own ****. I advise agaisnt dairy products because they prevent the absorbsion of vitamins and minerals plus its not natural for a human to be drinking another animals milk, along with all the steriods, hormones and chemicals that are in the milk.

People invest in there houses, cars and other things, but hardly anyone ever seems to want to invest in there bodys. Invest in the best fuel you can for your body and you will get the best results and health from your body. Dont treat it as a diet, make it your lifestyle to be healthy.
