    Getting Enough Nutrition During Fast

Any of my ****** brothers up in here? I've been having trouble with getting the right amount of workout due to the fast during this month, and I was wondering if any of you have any tips or meal plans during ramadhan?

And what's your workout plan for this month? Did you change it, and has the amount been affected?

    Cheers.

Hey man, welcome to the boards.
I'm not ******, but if I remember the custom of Ramadhan correctly, you can eat any time the sun is down, right? If this is the case, the best thing to do is load up on carbs and protein (2 to 1 ratio, about) before the sun comes up. Take it easy during the day with exercise. Then, about an hour/hour and a half before dark, get your workout in. The FIRST meal you take in should be some decent protein (doesnt have to be a shake or anything, maybe some chicken or fish) and a good helping of carbs. Then, get one more meal in before bed at least. This might sound like a weightlifters diet (essentially it is), but since you cannot eat during the body's most active time of day, it should help keep your nutrition on par.

    Oh, p.s. - Get yourself a multivitamin.
