first spar today
hooray! i finally got to spar today. i thought it went pretty good besides getting my nose busted and making the fatal mistake of taking a deep breathe to close and getting caught with a quick straight hitting me dead on the jaw, ouch. I also ate a few good uppercuts. I had a freakin blast though. My bad habits were really comin through for me too. I kept bending down to far and i was more leaning over then anything and my opponent tried to take advantage of it and uppercut to teach me a lesson but i still had an eye on him and manage to slipped by untouched. Overall besides bending down my movements were pretty clean but i still held back my punches and missed some golden opportunities which i just need to get in their and let loose but be smart thanx for taking the time to read and please if you got some good tips let me know and i keep posted on my progress
