I'm looking to buy my first pair of boxing shoes. Im more worried about what will last me a good while, and be comfortable for training/fights. This will be my first pair, ive only used Cross Trainers or Basketball Shoes before. Any suggestions of what to look for or which specific pairs youve tried and are good. Thanks.

i got adidas tyguns. theyre cheap. theyre comfortable. . . job done. -
I have Adidas' 2000 Olympic boxing boot. Its all kinds of dark colours and looks pretty cool. In terms of comfortability they are extremely comfortable and lightweight, which is the most important thing. As long as it feels like you are wearing a slipper and doesnt sap your stamina, then its a good boot. Its kinda mid range between my ankle and my knee. So I guess you would consider it a high top boot. Never tried the low cut ones so I cant say about those, but they look comfortable too.
P.s Go with adidas as a first boot I would say. They are good at making boxing boots.Comment
