So a couple of guys at my gym can do this crazy slip. Their hands stay in their guard, and their head just . . . MOVES. . . from one side to the other. Not turning; it's like their neck isn't attached to their shoulders.
The body doesn't move; the guard doesn't move. Only the head moves, from side to side. Like, about 6 inches of travel.
I've been working on this all day and **** me; I have NO IDEA how to do this. Is it one of those things like raising one eyebrow? Some people can, and some can't? Is it a question of mastoid / trap flexibility? It's almost like something out of poppin' & lockin', old-school breakdancing.
Can anybody here do this? Further, should I be working on it? My concern would be getting hooked when my neck was that far out of joint, already.
