Should I pick the swarmer fighting style ?

Im short for a guy that is in the weight class of a heavyweight (6?) but I have a long wingspan (6?) will the infighting style still be better for me fighting taller opponents since I have long arms ?

I don't know that it's that simple. How is your 1-2? with your wingspan it would be a shame to smother a good jab if you got one.

I think the style a person fights with is 'Instinctual'. If you have to consciously decide? hey I am going to fight this way or that way, then it is not apart of your fundamental instinct.

You must try to learn all styles, but deep down 'You must know what your instinct is wanting you to do? IF you have been in the ring before you will know what your fundamental style is etc'.

Fighters in certain situations will always revert to type. Notice how when Mike Tyson was being beaten, he never voluntary 'Took a backward step, against Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield or even Lennox Lewis' because on a fundamental basis being the aggressive counter puncher 'Was apart of his instinctual make up'.

Some fighters can be broken inside of the ring, and disregard their type 'Other's seem to be very difficult to break'.

Once you’ve gotten past the basics and begin sparring, you may notice that the art of boxing is more than just standing toe-to-toe trading punches.

A fighter should enter the ring with an overall strategy and specific tactics to make that strategy happen. How you box in the ring, though, doesn’t just begin from a blank slate. You have to understand fighting styles, the kind that you use and the kind that your opponent will use.

Sounds like a Street fighter 2 character, that throws bee hives instead of sonic booms
