Go for the one you like most. But try to face an opponent, which will help you to do right decision about yourself.

But yeah you can figure out your range for full power shots i guess ,you stand too close and you stand too far away youll realise which distance generates more force ,if its a right hand straight for example hold out your left for range finding and it should be a few inches onfront of the left fully stretched from an orthodox position if you want to maintain balance after the shot, however if youre overcommitting then it should be quite a bit onfront of the extended left

What people aren't mentioning is that finding your range is different with every opponent. At least in my opinion anyway. Their stance alone is enough to effect what range I am most effective at. Don't just settle for the furthest range you can throw punches at. It will lack power and balance.
If you mean to find the full extent of your range, yes you can find where you're more comfortable delivering a solid punch and keep extending the distance until you feel it loses it's power or is over extended.
It's like being able to shadow box for 24 rounds, it's not the same as boxing an opponent for 24 rounds. The movements that tire you and throw you off aren't the movements you are planning on making, it's the movements that you didn't plan on making, that your opponent forced on you.
On the heavy bag I actually concentrate more on my feet more than anything else. I don't know if anyone is the same.
