Once my gym starts back up, I’ve been thinking of adapting the crouching style due to the fact that most of my sparring partners are taller than me. I just need some tips. When you are fighting the crouch style, do you stay crouched the entire time? Or should you only crouch when punches re thrown at you? I find that staying crouched the entire time tires me out quickly, and puts unnecessary stress on my legs.

When you crouch a little bit, your elbows can cover up the sides of your body. Other than that, I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Give it a try. nothing wrong with trying new techniques when sparring. Also a good thing to have different techniques in your bag to deal with different types of fighters. I'm usually trying to get underneath a tall guys punches and go to the body. it makes sense to me when fighting a taller opponent. You might want to include some head movement when going in

Start squatting some weights. Get those hams good and strong. I was an in your face type of fighter. Getting low calls for strong legs. It was an incredible thing really. I told my trainer that I wanted to be an ultra aggressive crowd pleaser when I decided to fight pro. As an am I was walking the ring controlling with feints and my jab. It is tough, but there are secrets that you may soon see, if you recognize it...…...Rockin'
