20 lbs. of fat is hard to do in a month but it can be done the day before the fight. Until then, eat lots of lean beef and protien and try not to eat the rice. But still eat good carbs throughout the day. Eat smart, healthy, and in small portions. If you still didn't lose the weight before the fight, the day before, go all out on running in a sweat suit and just try to sweat a lot so you lose all the water weight. Also try some mild laxatives. I've never tried that but my friend wrestles and says he does that sometimes in big matches.

20 lbs. isn't hard, but if you want it long term fat, then it's hard. But since you have to make weight for a fight, it's easier since you can lose about 10 lbs. just from water.

I think you can lose 6-8 lbs. of fat in a month.

if your training regularly you dont wanna eat red meat...all that does is stays in your stomach and cramps you up

the normal rate for fat loss is 2 pounds a week..depdning on how much fat your actually have it should either be rel easy or real hard

its easy to get into shape
but its harder to get into better shape

Where'd you get this info? I've never heard that. Do you have any links on this?

Red meat doesn't stay inside you, it just takes longer to digest.

If your trying to lose weight in a short period, like you are...you need to stay off foods like, white pasta, white rice, white bread etc. Cut these out of your diet completely. Change for brown rice, wholemeal pasta and nuts and seeds. Cut out red meat...and eat chicken (no skin) and plenty of fish. Try to steam or poach all your foods instead of frying ofr grilling.

Also broccoli is a key food to lose weight....please also drink lots of water (3 litres a day). Then closer to the fight reduce fluid and general food intake...and increase "sweat sessions". You also need to do your cardio or road work first thing in the morning before breakfast..as this is the optimum time for fat burning.

There are loads of other tips i have for you...ive done this numerous times with no problems...

Keep checking in with me and let me know your weight and il talk you thru day by day if you want..
