i'm just about to invest in a pair of training gloves. probably the everlast pro hook&loop training gloves. i'm 17, 5'10, 160 lbs, pretty athletic. i just took up boxing last month to stay in shape, but i fell in love with it. i'm going to get a trainer next week or so, and i need to invest in a pair of trianing gloves. which gloves would be better for me to train/heavybag in, 14oz or 16 oz and why? thanks guys.

well in my gym they wont let u spar without 16oz gloves on but its different everywhere i guess.
when i was looking to buy my gloves my trainer told me i would need 16oz to protect my hands and plus the endurance thing makes sense i always get a shock when i take my gloves off and see my hand fly with ease lol
