Straight right has no power

Do you feel this is a chronic problem? If so, then stabilizing the wrist with good taping techniques may be an alternative. I don't have any experience with the off the shelf wrist wraps so I can't speak to them.

Upsetting because us black guys have hard hands
Are you using 10-12oz gloves just for the bags and mitts? That will hurt... if ever, use 14 or 16oz gloves.

Bend your knees as you punch, twist your hips and shoulders to bring full bodyweight behind the punch

Id bet a paycheck you put too much weight on your lead leg. Id also assume your front leg isnt bent. This is very common as many coaches and students focus more on upper body positioning.
I suggest building some leg strength. Next time you are on a heavy bag, do a couple squats while in a fighting stance between your combos. Besides being a helluva workout, itll build leg strength and coordination. With a better base, you will get a stronger punch. Now if you want KO power, you will need to incorporate some CORE exercise.

Leap in with a snapping left jab and close the distance to his left side. Use your left arm as a winky wright defence supreme guard. Then use your smashing right hand to club him with headshots and bodyshots. Pure dirty move taught to me from Ricky hatton on the Smitty show lol.
