If you can get a trainer get one! Im telling you ! I cant but itd be cool if I could. I try practicing technique, I try throwing slow motion straights to practice, and I think why cant I turn into this properly.. only after like 2 days I realise Im standing square on. If I had a trainer itd be ok. But still its not too bad practicing at home

I think you only need a trainer at the beginning, maybe 1-2 solid years. Then you can train yourself. But starting out from the beginning without a trainer is too hard.

I cant get a trainer because well I have a medical condition. I wuoldnt be doing sparring anyway etc, although I could do bagwork etc and padwork. I could I gues just for pointers etc.

You could learn enough on the internet or those videos they sell at boxing stores or titleboxing.com

Like any other sport, the better you get, the more advanced everything gets, from conditioning, to techniques and strategy. You better wake up and smell reality!
