Improving in technique in the fitness?

So i have been boxing for 1 year maybe, and i can do the basics of footwork - Jabs and hooks. The boxing gym in my city has changed, mostly cardio boxing and ****ty times for the classes, one tuesday and the two others friday and saturday evening, and i have mostly other plans those days.

The thing is i have only a year left here, then im gonna be moving to a bigget city, with an better gym and new martial arts. So i have been thinking about going to the fitness gym ( not boxing ), and making an heavy bag - shadow boxing and cardio routine, to keep up with my technique and maybe improve it and footwork, so my basics is gonna be top dollar

Together with some cardio and bodyweight training. But do you guys have any good routines for this, and most importantly do you think it could work?

You can do all the training in the world but it's nothing like getting that real training getting in that ring sparring with a equally eager hungry up and coming boxer.man that was the good old days lol.

That's true, which is what happens when athletes think about being pro boxers.
