    Carbs in Post-Workout Nutrition

I have a question about post-workout nutrition. I know that it's best to have a fast absorbing carb because it quickly replenishes the depleted glycogen but if all my other meals had some sort of slow digesting carb like oatmeal and I was always full of insulin throughout the day, would a slow digesting carb be good for post-workout?

yea a fast absorbing carb would be good. if u really want a good thing to eat after ur workout here it is.
Make a high protein/high carb shake:
    Ingredients:
    Peanut butter(use if you like)
1 cup oats(for ur fast absorbing carbs)
    non-fat yogurt
    Milk
    1 banna (also simple carbs)
1 scoop protein powder(use if you have)

there ya go man, its a great tasting meal and it fills u up good.

I'd just worry about keeping it low fat and high protein post-workout.....

low fat high protein fast digesting carbs. eat a banana and drink a protein shake. a little later use the slow carbs. right after a workout slow carbs arent a need.
