Pro-Mex Gloves

I just got them but I'm too noob a boxer to know whether they suck or not though they seem to suck to me. Too hard at the moment for sparring, pointless hook and loop system due to mandatory laces, and low quality, uncomfortable interior feel. They are Reyes ripoffs, but if reyes are ANYTHING like them at all then i want no part in them. They do look cool though.

Also, If I return them, what gloves from title do you recommend i get. This is what i have so far besides the promex's:

Kofightgear sparring gloves: soft but kinda thin and they look small and scary for opponents-ppl might not want to spar me, also they have poor wrist support compared to ringsides

IMF tech: rock hard but might soften up in a few months for sparring, however they are perfect for the bag. Should i get the Title platinum bag gloves and use these for sparring?

I would recommend against using Title platinum bag gloves for sparring- they have a different fill than sparring gloves and arent made to protect your partner, just your hands.

Might want to give another company a shot, like: Rival, Tufwear, Grant, or even the high end Everlasts- all of those companies have good gloves in their product line, just gotta find the right ones for you.

but if you're talking about using bag gloves for sparring, it's always a No.

i have the IMF tech training and been using them on a 100lbs heavybag for 2 weeks, they're getting a little softer on the outside, but not that much.

I know that Ringside is the best but if I have to do a return with title for the promex then Ill probably get title stuff.

ringside offers wayyyy to muhc padding you wont feel your punches


i have a pair fo reyes and everlast

i like them both

the reyes lets you feel the punches more

the everlast gloves are very comfortable and protect your hands very welll

if the pro mex loves are around 69 i'd spend an extra 10 and get the everlat gloves
