    Amateur fight 27th

So I have my amateur debut in five days (27th January) but I got sick today. Should I fight or no?

Why wouldn't you? I mean you gotta go with what you think but my daughter fought sick about 3 weeks ago. Go get it...

I always get sick right before a fight.

This past saturday after training for an hour, sat out in the front part of the gym for them to test wrap my hands. It was like -1 outside and pretty cold in the front part (not where we train). Sat there for a hot minute and cooled down immensely. Later that day started feeling like ****.

Eat some soup, take vitamin C and zinc and rest as much as possible. Feeling better today (fights tonight), but not 100%. I know that I'll be g2g come tonight, but just some dumb ****.

You should still fight probably. Better to get the experience and keep moving forward. Don't hype it up too much in your head, I try to think of it like just another day sparring/in the gym.

Before my last amateur fight a few months back(the opponent no showed) I also got sick before hand, but felt pretty good come fight day. Had sort of a dry-run, weighed in did medicals all that. Didn't get to fight, but at least got to experience it so that it won't be new this time.

Best of luck my dude! Let us know how it goes.

You should still fight. You probably feel better in a couple of days. Good luck with your fight.
