southpaw: if I double jab to get close how to avoid his right

if I'm double jabbing to close distance as a southpaw I find the orthodox fighter who stand his ground and fires a right hand catches me. even if I step my right foot out. slipping left doesnt work what do I do other than darting back ??

Move to your right while throwing it, ie don’t be stationery, move against the angle of the right hand.
