You don't get paid in the amateurs as far as I know of and, if your hands were hurting you were probably muscling your punches which is NOT what you want to do in this sport.

your knuckles arent used to the beating...i have calis over my knuckles form repeated work...you get used to it...make sure your doing the right technique

you dont get paid in amatuer boxing..you can win gift certificates and sponsors and prizes like equipment..but you wont get cash

Its when they get sweaty and ur wraps rub cause ur hands are probabl;y not wrapped properly. Ur hands will get used to it, or if ur a ***** use talcom powder. I say man up.

Right on Zigga! Just be a man and make sure your throwing your punches properly (I know from experience, Just yesterday I got purple bruises all around my knuckles) but if they get amazingly bad, to the point of nearly bleeding then... that might be a problem but otherwise roll it off.

            Like your sig pics though

wrap your hands. The stronger you get the harder your punch the more it takes a toll on your wrist. Combine that with wacking it and you're gonna have wrist problems.

i used to have this problem badly, i too have always like hitting the bag hard. What i did to was i started using differnt wraps and started pulling my punchs on certain punchs. also, make sure you are making a tight fist - i noticed somtimes i didn't make a tight fist. also use good gloves, after a couple months of repeated use buy a new pair of good gloves.

i forgot to add, to cure the knuckles quicker. boil some water, then put salt in the water, then dip your knuckles in the water. it will burn like hell for a few times wile diping your knuckles in and out of the water, then the their will be no more pain and your knuckles won't bleed no more, do this every day, and if you still punch the bag, pull your punchs untill fully curied. You will notice right away from doing this that you knuckles are not bleeding and they look tons better then they did before you dipped them in the salt water. One of my trainer who was a professional fighter told me about this so now i pass on to you and world.
