some do, but they also carry insurance and limit what equipment they can have based on the insurance they have.

monkey bars also aren't a hugely efficient workout. they take up a ton of floor space [gotta be up pretty high, too,] and i doubt the adults are clamoring to get on the monkey bars.

TS was mainly talking about shcools, where kids are no longer allowed to play on dangerous equipment. and i understand it from the perspective of somebody who has to insure the property and make sure the kids aren't getting hurt. you can't ensure that everybody knows how dangerous a fall from the monkeybars can be. i don't think it's right that some kids aren't exposed to that kind of play and wouldn't understand or be able to handle it, but that's just reality.

If its good enough for the prisons it should be good enough for the kids.

Still glad though that we still have the monkey bars in playgrounds its what i grew up playing on.
Yeah, having to hold your legs up so they don’t drag on the ground, good for the core too I guess, but getting across them in like one or two swings...lol

Damn...thought you were the non PC type.

My parents never showed me how to use pull up bars or jungle gyms, I just went out with my buddies when I was 6 or something to the park and common sense prevailed, and we did all sorts of ****...I guess post soviet, ass backwards Ukrainian culture is to blame for such ignorance from my parents.

This mentality prevailing and is exactly what is wrong with society...can't let your kids out of the house without wrapping them bubble wrap.

not sure fi you udnestad what i wrote. my kids wouldn't be the kids who would be in danger on monkey bars. but those kids exist. and for that reason you can't insure monkey bars in a school playground, or even have them in good conscience.

a kid's parents fail in preparing him for monkey bars to the point that they're dangerous. it is not the fault of a child.

We all grew up with monkey bars on the school playground and didn't b1tch if we fell down every once in a while or suffered sc****s here and there.

In general we seemed to have been a healthier, more robust generation than what we are turning out now. It's probably better to push for a return to that than to encourage this "sue for every little thing" culture.

i don't give a **** if a kid falls and *****es about it.

i care if his parents sue my school, or if the school has to carry so much insurance my property taxes go up, or they take away funding in other areas. do you understand what can happen if a kid without health insurance breaks his arm? medical bills are the #1 cause of personal bankruptcy in the country! that is not just kids stuff on a playground!

you really do come off as a clueless little boy sometimes. go blame the ***s. they're the litigious ones, right? gotta be those covetous ***s.

So let's take steps to turn away from this lawsuit culture that is out of control. Not just enable it by going along with the flow.

My generation broke arms and legs all the time, not even from monkey bars but just by climbing trees or jumping off swings. Just being active kids. No one went broke from those medical bills.

I don't hate ***s or *******. I do hate the globalist banker mafia, though.

hoyl f#cking **** dude!! what do you not understand?! it's not petty litigation to sue when your kid breaks his arm, is uninsured, and now has 25K in medical debt that you can't f#cking pay!

gotta stop suing for every little thing. like enough medical debt to make somebody lose his house. or the money to pay for rehab so little jimmy can actually use his arm or walk in 20 years. little things.

you generlaly shouldn't even open your mouth when i'm in a thread, kid. you'll do a hell of a lot better shutting the f#ck up and soaking up some of what i've got to offer. that's something you learn when you're around top, elite megamoneymaster ***s.

dude "your generation" didn't pay exponentially higher healthcare costs, or have to pay for the healthcare of a hugely aging population and a medical industry that takes a much higher margin! do you have any idea how different the climate was in he context of the cost of healthcare 20-30 years ago? it does not seem as though you do!

again, you don't understand enough for me to care to take the time to explain everything to you to get you up to speed. it would take a good deal of time and you are not worth it on my saturday. good day.
