Tuf Wear Gloves?

Hey all,

Just pulled the trigger on some Tuf Wear Pegasus gloves, ordered from the UK. Haven't been able to find any reviews or opinions on these gloves online, was wondering if anyone has any experience with this brand recently.

I know they have moved around the past few years, from NYC to Nebraska to UK now, but they have a history in boxing, so I'm hoping they're at least decent.

I use Sabas SS for bag work and love them, but wanted to try something different for sparring and thought it'd be fun to take a gamble on something you can't really find in the U.S., at least nowadays.

So anone have any experience with this brand? I'm not even sure where they're made, just hoping they aren't complete crap lol, cost me $87 US shipped. Coulda spent a little more for some good gloves of known quality, guess it's just my ******** spirit.

They are ok, little overpriced not full leather but synthetic. Won't be the best gloves you ever owned, but better than cheap mass produced large sports store brands title and everlast crap

I've heard good things about them, but as someone already mentioned they are too expensive for what they are.

Thanks for the info guys, I probably could have put the $ toward something a little better, like another pair of Sabas for about $27 more...but oh well, it'll be fun to try something from across the pond! I'll post my impressions of them once I've put them through some rounds to break them in.

Can't hurt giving them a go. They are not bad, a little overpriced, but will be ok to use

Received the Tuf Wear Pegasus gloves today, like others said, they are decent, but overpriced for what they are. The leather is pretty good quality and they have a mesh palm. I have smaller wrists, and can't get the wrist strap tight enough to get any support. They are another Pakistani glove, just like so many other companies now. For the price, I am kicking myself for not buying another pair of Sabas gloves.
On a side not, I ordered these online from Spennymoor Sports, and their customer service and shipping speed are top notch, I would definitely order from them again. They carry some good brands like Winning, Reyes, Ringside Alpha, etc.
