Does it actually helps to be on a diet and train at the same time?

You didn't say what your goals were but if you are trying to drop fat then I'd say it's essential. Some people lose weight by simply working out but that's not been my experience because I'm always hungry. In order to get in shape I need to monitor my food intake as well as train. Download MyFitnessPal and check out the Reddit sub r/loseit. I'm curious to hear what other people have to say as well.
What are your goals regarding diet?

In my experience if you eat nutrient dense food and train hard the weight tends to reach a natural, healthy level.
I never count calories. Just eat clean and bust my butt during workouts, with one cheat day per week where I can have whatever I feel like.
If you're trying to squeeze down to fit into the weight class below you then this approach might not work, though.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 05-18-2017, 09:16 PM.
