    Aspiring before workout

Is it safe to use Aspirin to deal with headaches before training?

Or rather does Aspirin an hour before workout hurt my performance during training?

Aspirin is a blood thinner! and thin blood can actually cause fatigue aswell (Probably due to the combination of thinning blood, and lowerng blood glucose!) If you really have to take aspirin, i would take it after training with food! you also need to look into the reason, as to why you are getting headaches! whether its a deficiency in something etc

But in general i would never take Aspirin.

Unless you are going to be bleeding you'll be fine.

Aspirin has been shown to increase sweating and oxygen requirements at rest but studies have shown this doesn't actually carry over during exercise.

Still, if you are getting regular headaches you need to get that checked out, maybe you need glasses or something.

I usually stay away from medicines for relieving temporary symptoms. If you have a head pain, then you must focus on the root cause.

Aspirin, Ephedrine, caffeine stack used to be common back in the day.

Old timer always told me no aspirin before sparring or a fight. It is a blood thinner and if you get cut it will be more difficult to stop the bleeding. Pretty common knowledge. Otherwise, if the headache is intense enough that you feel the need for aspirin, you might just take that night off practice. if you got a headache every night, there is likely some other problem that needs addressed

Sleep apnea maybe?? If you workout in the morning but are waking up with a headache..

Saw the thread title, thought it was about generating motivation.

When I first started sparring I had a headache that lasted about a month probably cause I kept getting back in the ring.
I feel like a pain killer would make you less sharp causing you to take more punches and needed more painkillers
