Hey bro, just like Ray and Foxx said
    - You need to mix up your jabs, I am sure if you had doubled it up or even put some power into them it would have put him off constantly throwing those hooks..
    - You got caught way too many times with that left hook for my liking, you need to remember to keep your hands up always
    - Let those hands go and throw combinations

I'd gave you the first round just but he cleanly took round 2 and 3
    Goodluck!

Hey bud. Apologies in advance for this critique. I mean it will all due respect and know its a lot easier said than done.

I think this was a good video for you to study and improve when it comes to fighting a shorter opponent.
A lot of what i am about to say has already been said, so perhaps these are the points of focus?

He got under most of your punches pretty easy. I don't remember seeing many - if any - UPPERCUTS!!
For this - watch roman gonzalez. He uses a lot of left uppers to get his opponent out of the crouch and then smashes 'em with a right hand.
An easy combo for shorter fighters is a simple one (amoungst others) - jab, right upper, left hook, right hand. Shorter guy will get under your jab only to eat an uppercut, then u can follow up.
This was a KEY element in that fight (he could go under your punches 100% without consequence - land a couple good uppercuts and he'll start thinking twice).

Another reason he is getting under your shots is rythm. Your a little predictable when your throwing your punches. Youtube 'ggg - leading the dance' it is good explanation about rythm.
To mix it up you will need to incoperate feints - foot feints, shoulder feints etc
Another example about rythm is at the 5:10 minute mark when you are both in neutral corner then you rush into to engage with him but miss...
Rush in - sure, but then you've got to trick him. Just before you attack, pause for a moment or fake a jab and throw a right. Do something unpredictable.

For a taller guy, you can use that lead hand like a probe for distance. You tube 'special moves: Tommy hearns pawing jab'. It is an excellent tool for the taller guy because you know exactly how far away he is an it upsets his rythm and combos etc. I think rigondeaux does it also.

A great punch for a taller guy like yourself is the check hook. Pivot on your left foot going backwards and around while throwing the hook. It allows you to get out of the way of an incoming attack and also creates an angle for counterpunching opportunities. I highly reccomend learning this punch properly, then the some follow up combos.

Some of your clinching was good, but not when u were dancing away. I prefer to step in an clinch than dance away (i mean, after a couple steps back if he's still coming, time to come forward) He can move faster forward than you can go backwards. Better to take 1 punch clinching than 10 trying to move away. There is a technique for this which cant be explained over the forum. Sorry.

A little bit stiff on the upper body movement. Try to work on yoir upper body. Look at what your opponent was doing and then look at yourself (no offence - he has to be good at this being a shorter guy).

Your hooks looked like they could hurt him but your jabs didn't look like they earnt any respect. I suggest lots of shadow boxing with weights from 1-5kgs, changing them between rounds.
Also, i was taught 5 different types of jabs - (flick jab, stiff jab, power jab, step jab, pawing jab). Be sure to mix these up - flick jab then stiff jab etc - break rythm etc

I believe you could have out boxed him and won with different strategy and preperation.

Good work apart from that. Keep it up.
Sorry for critique, just trying to help.

Need more head movement and learn to box better. Not to be rude but you're defense was one dimensional. you stood in front of him the entire time which played right into his hands. Jab more often and with more authority. I felt like you wanted to box him from the look of it but for whatever reason you didn't .

Overall you should have boxed his ears off but the lack of defense and jab didn't allow for your success. Also, looks like you got tied towards the last round. Maybe something to think about. This should teach you not to bawl with a brawler.
