How many 3 min. rounds can you punch a heavy bag at max. intensity until you gas out?

How many rounds (3 minutes) could you go all out on the heavy bag? i.e., throwing haymakers, combinations, and jabs non stop?

I myself start to gas out around late in round 3 or in round 4. When I'm doing 8 rounds I usually have to take a round to rest, so I don't throw that much and I rest behind my jab like Foreman recommends.

Right now, probably one round lol. I keep myself in shape all year round, but haven't hit the bag in years.

When I did, I was able to work up to 4 rounds without gassing. I never really attempted anymore rounds than that.

Are we talking rest or not rest between rds?

Starting fresh, I typically can get 7 or 8 good rounds in before I start sucking wind and slowing down.

My stamina is really bad right now, around 3 rounds before gassing out.

.5? I hit the punching bag once a week, but I don't practice that, so it's hard for me to tell. By full intensity I'm imagining non stop as hard and as fast as I could go.

If it's just hard, I would estimate I could do several rounds like that before gassing out.

Me and a kick boxer had a drill we did every few months or so. We called it 30/30.

We set the bell to go off every minute, for an hour.

Bell rings, I go as hard as I can for 30 seconds, and than he goes, we would do it for an hour.

Next day your entire body would be filled with acid, would be painful just to get out if bed. Was great for conditioning though.

                Definitely overboard, But fck it...

I don't know how many rds I could do with rest in between but I usually get in 3rds continuously without being burned out. Could definitley do more with one minute rest.
