    Any tips for reducing alcohol/sugar crave?

    I am trying to stick to a healthy diet but I cannot help myself from going ham on eating cake or drinking alcohol. Any tips to help me reduce this?

      I noticed chewing gum helps reduce sugar crave. I started chewing gum a lot from now onwards.

        It's called will power. Sorry, but there is no substitute for it and it will make you mentally stronger in the long run. Just say no. It is weakness that makes you eat junk food. Are you weak? Are you a *****? Then don't give in. That is why it is called temptation.

          I used to eat a healthy diet, and include sugar and booze into it.
          When I was fighting back in the 80's i always had a donut with my coffee in the morning, and it wasn't beneath me to go to the bar to play pool a lot of nights, and drink Jack and coke or screwdrivers.

          I've stayed out all night drinking and smoking pot the night before a fight many times.
          That explains why I lost more than i won. I only got knocked out once, but I lost decisions a lot because I wasn't a clean liver.

          I never had dreams of being a contender or a champ. I knew that wasn't going to happen after my first few amateur fights. I was a fighter because I liked it, it was like a drug.

          I started out 0-3, was 1-6 at one point, and 3-7 thru my first 10 fights.
          I was 10-16 when i turned pro.
          As a pro i started out 0-2.

          But I loved it.!!!

            Vegetables. Snack on celery, carrots, cauliflower. Used a low-cal salad dressing for dip if you like. They now only fill you up, but they have minimal calories and the fiber helps keep you lean as well.

              Blend smoothies and drink vegetable juice

              I blend then drink pomegranate juice + kale + carrot juice.

              It eliminates junk food and sweets cravings.

                lol! I enjoy your post(s) man, you are brutally honest but know your stuff. You just motivated me not to eat something sweet with my coffee this morning, in fact I am drinking my coffee black! haha!

                IDK if the TS paid attention to what I first posted but bananas are known to fix sweet and alcohol cravings. Personally I know they help with sweets. Also I enjoy drinking a chocolate protein shake with a big scoop of peanut butter and crushed ice, it tastes like a frozen Reeses Pieces. I actually look forward to it like its a treat...
