I've never had an alcohol crave... But, there are ways to hack your life to reduce alcohol and sugars in your diet.

In my opinion, the way to reduce the cravings is to eliminate/significantly reduce the amount you're eating/drinking of whatever it is you want to reduce.

The first thing you'll need to do is get rid of all the alcohol and sugary foods in your home. Also have healthy alternatives for other places, like work, family activities, etc.

For sugary foods you can always opt to making your own deserts or sticking with fruits. Remember, the problem is not just the sugar, but the empty calories while consuming sugary food. You can reduce sugar in your diet, but also ensure that when you eat something sweet that it's also nutritionally desnse, like a fruit.

Prepare all your meals to limit unwanted ingredients in your food and set strict rules about alcohol consumption. You can limit the nights you go out, what alcoholic beverages will be acceptable, with who and where are you drinking, etc.

Once you cut down sugar and carbs you won't crave them.

As soon as you start eating them again you'll immediately want more.

Carbs and sugar were hard to find in the wild during caveman tribal times. But because they are the most effecient source of energy, our bodies crave them.

So naturally, now that they are so readily available, we crave them and over eat them.

Everyone should make an effort to cut them.

^This is a good thing to keep in mind. It's the withdrawal period that is brutal.
Not only will you not crave them as much, they won't feel good anymore. I used to have 2 Carl's Jr burgers at lunch. I had 1 the other night and thought I was coming down with the flu I was so ill. Same thing happens with sugary drinks. My body just isn't adapted to handling fatty and sugary stuff right now.

Yep, first few days when I cut carbs all I cannthink About pizza. I don't eve pj eat pizza like that all, but once I cut carbs, I want pizza more than *****.

And yeah your right about carbs being uncomfortable once you cut them. I get really bloated and it takes awhile to feel digested. I've actually started cutting down my meat consumption too for that reason. My body just can't handle it the way it used to.

My buddy who is a Doctor always tells me, "control your carbs, control your diet."

It really is true, once I cut carbs, eating right was easy.

There's a difference between low carb diets and simply consuming less carbs. An abundance of simple (and refined) carbohydrates are considered the norm. The average American can cut their carbs by 50% and still not be on a "low carb diet" because the accepted standard is so far from ideal.

Eat healthy for a month. Dont eat or drink anything for any purpose othrr than nutrition. In a month u wont want to go back. Brain will be releasing all the happy chemicals consistantly, not in short spikes. Much preferable. U will see stress levels drop so the effect on health and mood will compound.

Eliminate the craving by eliminating the exposure you have to it in your everyday life.
The less you see it, the less you have access it to it, the less you'll think about it and eventually crave it.
Remove all of it out of your house and stay out of bars or environments where you're exposed to alcohol and sweets.
Willpower is overrated and non-existent in most peoples personalities.
You're best solution is to eliminate your exposure to things you crave that you don't want to consume.
