    Fighting again after injury

I had yesterday my first training after an Achilles tendon injury, which took me out of 6 months.
During those 6 months, I kept doing my strength workout and been doing Double End Bag / Shadow Boxing sessions, without moving a lot my feet.

But once I got back into sparring I just felt totally lost....
I couldn't see any punches coming and overreacted quite a lot.
And my counter punching was just, pitiful... it took me years to counter and time an opponent...

I have been boxing now for 3 years, so I am not some Newbie.

But my question is, do you have similar experience ?
    Or is this completely normal?

Don't even worry about it. It will take a little time to get back in your groove and most important for your eyes to get sharp again. Keep working and just give it some time.......

If i was you , I would just concentrate on getting my jab right. Work on distance, speed, stepping into it, LANDING MOST OF THEM, doubling up, sticking on the move, timing and power.
Everything else will follow and fall into place.

Ya it takes time again...a few sparring sessions and youl be the same as you were... Sure even wene you don't spar for a good while it takes a few rounds or spars to get back into the sharpness of it all.

        PS... Your still a newbie
