    Post work out meals.

    Anyone got anything they wanna share? . . . I just usually make steak panini with red onions, mushrooms and peppers, and some sort of protein/cab drink.

    Getting abit bored of that now. Seeing what else other people like to rustle up. Thanks

    If you share try and say what sort of training you're doing too. IE. Bulking, Cutting/Lean etc.

    Pre workout, post workout, and all of that other **** is over rated. Eat healthy throughout the day.

      Depends on you goals.

      I lift weights, so weight management is less important for me than getting all my nutrients in as quick as possible.

      I usually just want make sure I get my carbs, fats, protein.

      Sweet potatoes, a half chicken, and some veggies, has been a constant staple in my diet no matter if I'm cuttng weight or bulking, if i work out at night.

      It's extremely easy to make, it's all healthy and cheap, and you can cook it in bulk. Seriously, learn how to cook these 3 things.
      If I work our early than I'll usually go with a sandwich. (I try to only eat fast burning carbs during the day).

        I still do the old bodybuilding method of having a shake right after a workout, then a balanced meal within a couple hours after.

        As far as what to eat, the possibilities are endless. Here's some random ideas if you're bored;

        Salmon with asparagus on a bed of rice that's had things like onion, herbs, peppers, etc mixed in.

        Grilled pork chop stuffed with garlic, rosemary, panchetta, mushroom, and Parmesan, with a side of fingerling potatoes and green beans.

        Grilled chicken cut into strips and tossed in a salad. Salads don't have to suck. I'll use a decent vinegrette along stuff like walnuts, dried cranberries, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, fetta, Parmesan, calamata olives, etc. There's also low cal yogurt dressings that make a decent Cesar salad.

        My favorite is a ribeye with sweet potatoes and spinach. Really satisfying.

          I'm not bulking or cutting, pretty happy where I am now so I'm just maintaining. I will gorge on food some days because I have room for error.

          Post workout today I made a simple burrito. Extra lean ground beef cooked in a pan with grated onions, garlic and finely chopped red pepper. I seasoned it with adobo and chilli powder. Then I threw it on a large wrap, added tomatoes and doused it in extra hot Valentina sauce.

          I do wraps often because theyre quick and the ingredient combinations are endless. I also keep mine at or slightly below 500 calories which allows me to eat more meals throughout the day or even binge on two of them post workout if I really like them.
