working hard breaks down muscle fibers, they then grow back stronger
you can break em down and build em up without being sore
but the question is do you make faster progress if you get sore and allow time for recovery or if you dont really get sore but can train more frequently?
Old school methods are proven to work still to this day, id lean towards old school being correct, id back a calazagge over a jeff lacy anyday

It is from one of two things. 1) working muscles that haven't been worked out for a good period of time or 2) working out too hard. You'll know when this happens because you won't get sore until 2 or more days after and the soreness can seriously alter daily activities and last nearly a week.

Before you know it you'll be able to put in the work you want with nothing but positive gains.
If you're beasting out every day you should continue to be sore.
Not injury sore but yes you should be god damn sore.
You don't need to stop training just because of soreness unless it's very bad.

Your sore because its all still new to your body.
The fact that you said your hips are sore would worry me a bit.
Do you know the difference between joint pain and muscle soreness? Joint pain I'd be worried about it, muscle soreness I wouldn't be.
Make sure your stretching your hips muscles. Even if your active they tighten up.

Do you train the same way everyday?. Perhaps you should change it. You should not do heavy workout everyday. do an alternate workout of
heavy- light- average light.
Unless you are preparing for a fight heavy workout is not necessary, once a week will be enough
if it's muscle soreness you're getting it is because your body don't have time to recuperate from loss of liquids and nutrients. thus acid forming on your muscles.
Take some supplements.
If its joint pain. ( watch out and get it looked at by a doctor).
Hope this help.
