Just curious is it necessary to weigh up meals if you're looking at eating six meals a day and having protein, carbs and fats in each meal cheers

Weighing Up Meals

I don't use a scale, but I guesstimate the weights of my meals. Also, I measure myself every time I am done eating & I measure myself again in a couple hours & I measure myself in the morning to make sure that my weight goes down consistently the morning after the morning. I know there are some boxers who just eat a lot (7000 calories) & do a lot of workouts, but that's not for me. I can't & don't want to do that much workout. The most important part is how watching what you eat (how much it would weigh & what type of food it is: fat, protein, carbon) makes results. I was 82kg 1 year ago. I am 61.4kg right now. I was not on a diet for the whole year. I took breaks in between.
See, by watching what I eat, I went from this: youtube.com/watch?v=ifW6W73uUHM
to this in 1 year: youtube.com/watch?v=xHV5m8fyRS8
It was a hell, but I still need to lose about 7kg for the best lowest ideal weight (there is an ideal weight range chart offered online) for my height.Last edited by wilberbear; 09-08-2015, 01:53 PM.

Depends on what you're trying to do. If you're trying to maintain or gain, then weighting your meals is important. But it depends on your body, genetic, metabolism, etc.
From the bodybuilding world, they usually weight their meals when they are trying to maintain or gain, since everyone metabolism, body, genetics, etc is not the same, so if you're easy on gaining weight, you need to weight your meals so you get the proper macro-nutrition (Carbs, Fat and Protein). But I'm no pro, so don't hold me against this lol. If you have a trainer, I would ask them.
