6 years old. See potential, my girl got her nephews from Detroit and one has real potential. If I was in Detroit I would just say, "Kronk gym!" Anyways to much energy that should be spent towards building a career. My girl ain't to keen on it but I've been trying to reassure her. Any help would be good.

Kronk has been gone a long time now!
6 years old is to young for boxing other than shadowing and teaching concepts. A child at that age has so much more growing to do that exercises and physical contact could do far more damage than good.
Eleven to twelve ages are good ages and again the body doesn't need strain on it while long bones grow and other development continues.
Teaching Methods and Techniques early then adding strength & stamina as the body matures is the right way to go.

Yeah I have to agree with Ray on this, 6 is too early to start boxing. Sign the kid up to play some soccer or something. Get him used to the idea of working to get better at something.

"Tacoma Boxing Club"
I know you could pay for like personal session here most likely for technique practice. The head coach is the 2000 Olympic Coach and it's one of the best gyms in the northwest.

Thanks for all the input guys! I think I remember Mosley-Mayweather 24-7 where Floyd was showing off kids as young as him with skills and that's where I got the idea from. Ten sounds like a good age.
