    Magnesium for shoulder injury

Has anyone had any good effect on taking extra magnesium for a shoulder injury?

The doctor told me, that my injury is a ripped ligament

I've never heard of taking just magnesium for a shoulder ligament but magnesium is an important nutrient that can help in healing because of the way it stimulates other functions.
Personally, cissus herb (like in the Supercissus supp) is the best thing I've ever used for ligament issues. Been a lifesaver for me.

I don't think any minerals are going to do jack **** for a ripped ligament.

I don't know but my best advice take glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, and fish oil. Then ice it a few times a day and use a foam roller.

Thats just my opinion i got a torn mcl and stay in the gym with that routine.

Here is a video of one of my guys on the foam roller.

Thanks - I've gone to see a chiropractor and am trying to fix it with some rehabilitation training (and hope it's not a ripped ligament).

Magnesium is good for tight and soire muscles but it wont reallyhelp a serious injury like that, if you have a torn ligament then you probably need surgery, if its partially torn then rest and anti-inflammatories. See if your Dr will give you acortisone shot.
