    38 year old guy thinking of fighting one last time.

    I'm thinking of starting training seriously for next year's amateur championship.It will be the last time that i'll have the right to participate because of age restriction(40).I haven't officially been in a fight since 2007 but i'm in the gym almost 9-10 times a month,sparring and training.Not very active but keeping close to boxing.Mentally i'm feeling fine for this.Physically i will take advantage rest of the year to get ready.I mean READY.If i dont manage to find the time i want for preparation, i will drop this.Do you think i still have it or am i fooling my self?
    This is a video of me in my house.I haven't been in the gym for 2 months now and my condition sucks.I know.

        A few suggestions;
        the bag should NEVER spin, if it does your landing a glancing blow!
        Your hands drop after every punch, you better land or you getting hit.
        Your punches STOP at the bag! You need to punch through the bag.
        Not every shot but your second and third punches in combination need to travel through the target, that enables you to gaining more power in your bag routine.

        The bag your using is the same bag that was the main bag for 135 to 160/75 pound guys in my gym. If your getting your shots "deep" into it that bag produces are great sound and feel so go for it!

        As far as competition thats up to you. I don't know your skills or competition level so its impossible to comment or suggest. Its on you.

          I intend to go about 165lb witch is 75 kg.I am at 81 now.This bag is mine and im'not going to train on it.You 're right about penetrate the bag and the sound is getting more wow because of my small basement(echo).I agree with everything you said.I have about 40 fights and won silver and bronze before.
