So im 22..I previously boxed for 1 year had one fight and stopped in this past September and moved to No GI BJJ as it was easier to balance with school/work. I do that only 2x week and love it and still want to continue it as its a free club offered at school. I recently got an itch to return and learn more. Not sure about competing but want to spar still. I'm not sure how I can balance BJJ 1-2x week, lift, and box. Maybe BJJ 1x week, Boxing 3-4x week, and lift 2-3x week?

If you want to spar than I don't see why you can't go in for 3x a week. I'm in the gym 2x a week even though I'm an active fighter. I do tain everyday at home though. Use the gym as a learning day, get the coaches to tell you what you're doing wrong and practice those aspects at home.

I don't blame you. I quit boxing over a year ago now and I was really wanted to get back into it and was thinking about finding a gym in the area i moved to but i lost my job last week so that got pushed to the back of my priorities until I find an new job and a place. I did take up kung fu a little while ago and started practicing with the weapons like the metor hammer and it has had a really positive effect on my spacial awareness and coordination.
And I did go to my old gym a few weeks ago and suffice to say, my body wasnt condition to boxing as much.
