First of all what jab do you use, I usually put hip rotation into my jab, but I presume you cant do that when following the jab with the hook because you need the hip ready to rotate quickly after you have landed the jab? (If you have jabbed with hip rotation you have to reset your hips before you can throw the hook which is slower)
Second question do you load up the hips before you throw the left hook? I presume you don't because that would be too slow? If you throw the hook straight from your stance after the jab and you have a fairly side on stance isn't your hook going to be too weak? Since it doesn't have much distance to accelerate up to speed?
Thankyou.
