    Sprinting vs long distance jogging.

    Which do you think is better for conditioning and fat burning?? or should a mixture of both be used?

      Yea i have been reading a lot of that lately..i went sprinting today and damn it was intense, but followed with a mile jog...also been reading up on Interval training where you jog but sprint in spurts

              Post up the video. From what I recall, Bradley does long distance running quite a bit, or at least he use to.

                  A good sprint workout > long distance jogging for me any day, but I suppose they have their advantages.

                  Jogging long distance means you'll make it the distance, but sprinting decides more about what you can actually output DURING the distance. Great and all that you have the legs to continue fighting, but if your shots don't have any mustard on them when you start getting winded then you're screwed despite still having some legs.

                  I usually try to do a mixture of both. I'll either run a hair faster than I normally do for the entire duration(6-8 miles), or every 7 minutes I'll throw in a sprint(Running at a 6:30 minute pace). Hill sprints are also fantastic because they give your legs an element of resistance.

                    yes yes and yes..i have also been doing uphill sprints and love them...i have never been a big cardo guy but since i have started the fat has been falling off fast and my endurance is crazy
